I know this isn't just a me thing.
I've tested the theory at this count, easily dozens of times. I have yet to meet an American, at least, who has never heard this advice from their mother or parental figure.
Yet meanness and cruelty rather than kindness still seem to prevail online and in the face to face world.
Makes it real hard for those of us struggling with biochemical challenges.
