Chuck Jones has always been one of my inspirations, so he automatically gets a little props when I can find a reason to give him one.
That said -- yes. Introverts. I'm one. I'm not a freak, or a loner, or anti-social. And I do not necessarily need you to chat me up. What I do need is quiet time and alone time, especially if I've had a busy day or already been social. The more people in the social setting, the more energy it will deplete from me, and the more I will need to seek out that quiet solitude.
Reading a book by myself is not a cry for help. It's not an indication I have nothing better to do and want a conversation stricken up with me.
