Let's clarify.

 

When dealing with Sexual Harassment, and MRAs, the MRAs will tell you that CREEP is a slur. It's not.

 

CREEP is someone who

 

Cannot Respect Explicitly Elucidated Preferences

 

That means they see a girl with headphones on,  they know perfectly well she doesn't want to talk. She's listening to something.  Respecting that preference means acknowledging she's listening to something, leaving her alone.  A guy who tries to chat her up anyway is DISRESPECTING her obvious preference.

 

They see a woman with her head down in an e-reader, magazine, book, or something.  The signal is right there, obvious.  She's reading something/doing something.  Respecting that preference means she's reading something, doing something (possibly even for work or school rather than pleasure as if that makes a difference -- it doesn't).   A guy who tries to chat her up anyway is DISRESPECTING her obvious preference to be allowed to concentrate on what she's doing in peace.
