I was a victim of the big T-Mobile "all Sidekicks network is hosed and by the way you lost all your data possibly forever, sorry" fiasco involving Danger and Microsoft.
If you are persistent, you get what you need. After a friend gave me the info to contact T-Mobile via the Consumerist (after a week of no luck talking to anybody through normal means) the lady offered me a free g1. I LEAPED at this offer.
It arrived yesterday. I got to play with it today.
I love it.
I am a big geek and it services 99% of my geeky needs.
That last 1%?
Maybe there's an app for that...
